About Paul’s Baseball Blog:
The mission of this blog is simple:
- Provide a daily report of what is happening within Major League Baseball and all of its teams
- Give my personal analysis of games and statistics
- Provide answers for questions regarding teams and managerial moves
- Look for other educated opinions from fans for other teams
I have been thinking of starting a blog for the past 2 or 3 years now, but I have now decided to start one now halfway through the 2008 season. At first, I looked at being part of the MLBlogs Network at mlb.com, but I thought that there were WAY too many blogs over there. I’ve decided to run this blog off of the WordPress Blog System, and have made several modifications to fit my needs.
About Me:
I don’t work for any media outlet in any Major League city, I actually am a Consultant in the Computer Industry. One day, my goal is to travel to all 32 Major League Ballparks (I’ve already been to 2), and to one day visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. I’m an avid website designer and computer programmer!
I live in Detroit, Michigan (and am a “beloved” follower of the Detroit Tigers), but over the years I have grown accustomed to many other teams, including:
- Boston Red Sox
- Arizona Diamondbacks
- Seattle Mariners
- Houston Astros
I, for one, am not a fan of the New York Yankees, because of the way that the Steinbrenner family runs the organization. They overpay their players, but so do the Detroit Tigers, for minimal production on the field.
